Twilight Thames

Tom says: " A new angle on an old favourite 'Twilight Thames' - overlooking Tower Bridge and the meandering Thames beyond, with plenty of hidden details to draw you in. There is a temptation to keep adding details and information to these elevated pieces but I am also mindful of keeping a looseness to it all - striking a balance is key. Whilst the Shard and Tower Bridge may grab your attention, the priority and focus throughout the process is the sky and water below - creating a sense of light and tranquility through colour and texture, and making sure they don't end up too overworked. Favourite pieces of collage: the black and white waterslide at the bottom of the piece which at first glance looks to be a continuation of the water ripples,  and also "the point of it all" slogan located at the base of the Shard! "
